Ceramic Foam Filter Box
The ceramic foam filter box is designed for in-line filtration of molten aluminum in aluminum melting and casting lines. Installed between the holding furnace and casting machine, the filter box removes non-metallic inclusions and other impurities from the melt to improve molten aluminum cleanliness and support more stable casting quality.
The system supports multiple specifications and structural configurations, and is applicable to aluminum melting and casting production lines with different production capacities and workshop layouts.
Molten aluminum passes through ceramic foam filter plates during transfer from the holding furnace to the casting machine. The ceramic foam filters trap and remove impurities from the melt, including:
- Oxides
- Slag particles
- Non-metallic inclusions
- Fine particles ≥10 μm
The filtration process improves molten aluminum cleanliness and supports more consistent casting quality.
