The launder-type in-line degassing system is installed in the molten aluminum transfer launder for continuous melt treatment. A rotating graphite rotor introduces argon or nitrogen into the molten aluminum and disperses the gas into fine, uniform bubbles to remove hydrogen and non-metallic inclusions, helping improve melt cleanliness.

Working Principle
  • Molten aluminum from the holding furnace flows into the launder-type degassing system.
  • The molten aluminum enters the sealed degassing chamber.
  • The rotating graphite rotor disperses argon or nitrogen into the melt as fine bubbles.
  • The bubbles capture hydrogen and non-metallic inclusions as they pass through the molten aluminum.
  • The bubbles and captured impurities rise to the melt surface for removal.
  • The treated molten aluminum flows to the filtration system or casting equipment.
