Aluminum Billet Casting Machine
The VDC billet casting machine provides controlled vertical movement during aluminum billet casting. The drive system mainly consists of a motor, gearbox, winch drum, and machine frame, with casting speed controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD).
- The casting machine is available in load capacities from 5 to 45 t.
- VFD speed control provides precise and stable control of vertical casting movement.
The internally guided hydraulic VDC billet casting machine is designed for the vertical direct chill casting of aluminum and aluminum alloys. The internally guided hydraulic system provides controlled movement of the casting platform, supporting stable and precise operation throughout the casting cycle.
The VDC billet casting machine is suitable for 1XXX–8XXX series aluminum alloys, with casting speeds from 10 to 500 mm/min and billet lengths up to 7000 mm.

The internally guided hydraulic VDC billet casting machine uses a hydraulic system to control the movement of the casting platform during casting. Molten aluminum is introduced into the casting molds, while the casting platform operates at a controlled speed throughout the casting process. The casting system also works with a controlled cooling-water supply to support aluminum billet formation.
Equipment is configured around the customer’s production requirements, plant layout and existing line, with installation, commissioning and technical support provided according to the project scope.
